It’s International Women’s Day AND NAWIC National – U.S.A. National Women in Construction Week. Progressive Roofing wants to celebrate some of our awesome women, below get to know a few female roofers from our New Orleans office Progressive Roofing – New Orleans, Louisiana

Ashely Williams: Nicknamed The Louisiana Enforcer. Ashley is an enthusiastic and industrious roofer that doesn’t let her social norms or her female status depict her role. “See them big muscles? As little as they are I can still lift stuff that some men won’t even attempt to lift!” It is clear Ashley takes the male-dominated industry of roofing seriously.

Destiny Nance: Destiny is a hardworking, knowledgeable, professional roofer. Below is a photo of Destiny working at The Kalorama 700 Magazine project, a new construction luxury condominium job Progressive Roofing is performing for Gibbs Construction. The Kalorama 700 Magazine consists of nearly 35,000 SF of Soprema modified bitumen roofing. Designed by architect Rozas Ward Architects, this building is destined for great things as it will include residential units, retail space and a parking garage. The Kalorama 700 Magazine project is located in the Warehouse District of New Orleans, LA.

Thank you for all you do Destiny & Ashley, you are helping to change the role of women in the construction field! Join us in celebrating International Women’s Day AND National Women in Construction Week! #IWD2018 #NAWIC
