2018 Project of the Year

When Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans, many partnerships were forged during its rebuilding between the federal, state, and local governments. There are many projects in which Progressive Roofing is proud of, however, being part of the rebuilding of the New Orleans VA Medical Center is an honor. Moreover, it is a tribute to the many veterans the center cares for and honors as well as a testament to the resolve of the people of New Orleans. In fact, many of our employees in the NOLA office were personally devastated by Katrina. 

In 2018, the Project Management Institute, which recognizes large projects over $100 million, awarded the New Orleans VA Medical Center the ‘Project of the Year’. The Project Management Institute is an international organization with members representing 200 countries.  

Progressive Roofing was proud to work with the Architect Studio Nova and Clark McCarthy Joint Venture as the general contractor. The scope of the project almost lasted 5 years. Progressive Roofing performed quality work on the original VA Hospital and the Dixie Building.  Read More
