Roofing School Dining Hall
One of the most important facilities to ensure proper roofing is the school dining hall. The dining hall (or cafeteria) is not only used for feeding hungry minds, but also for studying and socializing. It is in the dining hall that young adults forge memories and friendships that can last a lifetime.
Progressive Roofing was proud to be part of the new school dining hall at Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana. The MSU Rendezvous Dining Hall is located at 1300 12th Ave., Bozeman, Montana. Progressive Roofing installed a Carlisle TPO system over 45,000 square feet.
Mosaic Architecture’s beautiful and functional design sets a higher standard for future visions of this type of usable space. This project was built with the responsibility to the environment with the guidance of Langlas Associates. Low VOC products were used and the total project was completed with a 95% landfill conversion rate.
Rendezvous will also be MSU’s most sustainable dining hall. No throwaway coffee cups will be used in its coffee shop. Instead, customers will be urged to bring refillable mugs or donate reusable mugs. No throwaway straws are planned. Food waste will be composted, in partnership with the city. In the side room for collecting dirty dishes, metal funnels make it easy to scrape uneaten food into composting containers.” Read more here
