FOUNDED IN 1978
Progressive Roofing began as a family operation. Originating as a modest Phoenix company, we have evolved into a nationwide force with over 1,475 employees, spanning four generations of roofers, and establishing over 10 branch offices coast to coast.

1978
Established by Mark Farrell, Progressive Roofing began with its corporate office and first location in Phoenix, AZ in 1978.
1987
Expanded to Tucson with the opening of the Tucson Branch, the company’s second location in Arizona, in 1987.
1992
In 1992, Progressive Roofing expanded its operations to a second state in the western region of the US, opening a dedicated branch in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
1996
The Flagstaff Branch was established in 1996, further solidifying a strong presence in the state of Arizona.
2004
As part of our ongoing expansion efforts, the Texas Branch was established in 2004 through consistent and gradual organic growth.
2005
Continuing our development, through steady, sustained organic growth, the Colorado Branch was established in 2005.
2007
Progressive Roofing completed the first Data Center project in Tempe, AZ.
2007
Progressive Roofing completed the first co-op project The Cooperative Purchasing Network (TCPN).
2010
In 2010, Progressive Roofing aggressively expanded its reach with the addition of several branches acquired in the states of Ohio, Maryland and Utah.
2011
The following year, our national presence was strengthened in the northeastern US with the establishment of the Pennsylvania Branch in 2011.
2024
Progressive Roofing surpassed 1,250 employees.
