Millennium High School set out to create the “best-in-state gymnasium with a metal-clad exterior,” and this project, aptly named the Diamond in the Desert, successfully achieved that goal. This new multi-purpose facility shines with modern metal wall panels arranged in a complex pattern, giving it a cuttng-edge look. Progressive Roofing took on the task of installing a metal cladding system on both the roof and exterior walls of the 45,000 SF building. The gymnasium, part of this bustling campus, now includes seating for approximately 2,400 people, three regulation basketball courts, direct access to both locker rooms through tunnels, a new weight room, separate team rooms for boys and girls, and a state-of-the-art Diamond Vision display. Located in Goodyear, AZ, within the Agua Fria Union School District, this impressive project was completed in February 2022, enhancing the school’s athletic and physical education facilities significantly.
